AF Morning at Tramsheds

It was the morning of contrasts

The weather held off for a beautiful meetup of all kind of cars near the Tramsheds. If you want to see variety in the car scene, this was a rare event to do so. From extra small to extra large, most makes of Europeans, Japanese, Americans and every colour of the rainbow and then some more were all present.

How small can you go?

My heart was stolen with the smallest car on display. Tiny little wheels, lights, mirrors, doors, everything so tiny, but such a big character.

JDM was in abundance

All makes and colours of the best sport cars from Japan. From record setting NA Honda engines to road dominating turbo GT-Rs.

EVO for the win

My pick goes to Tommy Makinen EVOs though. One day I will be back in the evo game with an EVO V for sure.

Euro guys put up a show too

Old and new german machines on display. Take a pick, raw power and the feels of the past vs insane power and comfort of the present. I know, I couldn’t decide either.

This is the one

Is this the white streak in life we are all waiting for? Packed with a Playboy magazine in the back and the stunning looks all around. The lurking shark took my breath away.

I couldn’t get enough from the incredible headlights. No matter how you look at them, every angle reveals so much character. Aggressive look from far, unique side profile and intricate headlight wiper details when you come a little closer.

Red, Yellow, Orange, Blue

Super bright and properly fast! As much as I like understated sleeper cars, I can’t resist a juicy hot road eating sportscar. It’s a big statement, for the braves (wink wink hwp).

The TRUE show stoppers

No one could pass by these cars without staring for good 10 minutes or more. Elegant and refined lightweight performance vs brute torque and mean slab looks.

The big boys

Do you need to get out the concrete jungle and onto the muddy roads and rough terrain? Meet your trusty companions to do the job with ease.

And the small guys

Don’t judge them by the size, they still pack up a punch. They don’t have a scorpion tattoos all over them for nothing. The go-kart for the road.

The clockwork orange

Casually exposed mid-engine, sharp as knife spoiler and wide open ducts. These things breath fire and will leave you in a dust. Dangerous looks and unforgettable sound, move aside when you see it in your rearview mirror.

Honourable mentions

Don’t be fooled by the cute face and rounded soft looks. You’ll get an instant response to the throttle and the steering wheel, snappy downshifts and raw enjoyment. This particular miata comes with a race engine and a tidy space under the hood. Going for that 60’s racer look, coming up nicely!

Straight out of the showroom

What do you do first thing when you get a new Bimmer? No need to answer. Congrats to the owner – enjoy your 2 Series! Stunning colour and incredible shine. How much time do you give him before the first modifications begin?
